BG Starter Pack
BG is short for Bench Graft. BG Zipset Starter Packs refer to the size of the Propagation Tray. The Tray is 6 inches deep but instead of square, like the other Zipset Starter Packs, it is 10 inches wide and 16 inches long. This tray was initially designed for greenhouse grape growers to opitimize their growing space with a rectangular tray.
BG Zipset Starter Packs will hold forty 2-inch Zipset Plant Bands 10 inches tall, the size most grape growers choose. Twelve BG Trays will fit perfectly on a standard 40 by 48 inch pallet.
The Zipset System is widely used in Australia for table and wine grapes; specifically Binjara Vine Nursery provides wine grape seedlings and stock for Yellow Tail Vineyards.
